Since I prefer to buy new, I have not needed to do much in the way of repairs in the last 15 years. I usually buy new, drive them 5-7 years and get rid of them. The most I've ever kept a vehicle is about 90K miles. After that many years, I want to look at something different. Since I take good care of my vehicles when I own them, I get good trade in values for them.
