Default iPOD to Factory 03 Tahoe

I've got a 2003 Tahoe LT. The factory stereo has an aux. button. My question is how do I connect my iPOD/iPHONE to this stereo? I'm assuming it's on the back of my stereo, but are there cables I need to purchase for this first, or directions that someone can give?

first i would check if there is a stereo jack in the radio or center counsel. just wondering is it an after market radio or stock.

It's a stock radio. No aux jack in the front, like there might be on aftermarket or newer models. I know there's got to be something that works since there's the option for aux.

You can buy a cheap amp and get one of these cords:

and tap into your factory speakers and run it separate from your radio.

I found one these iPOD interfaces: http://www.oemautosound.com/pm-239-1...e-pa11-gm.aspx

Is this most likely what I'd need?

    Thumbs up

Yeah, that's pretty cool if it would plug into your truck. I am still loking for something that would work on 80's GM trucks.

Hard to tell. The write up on the web page says it attaches to the CD Changer connector located in the rear of the vehicle. My 03 Tahoe has a 6 disc CD changer built into the radio and is XM capable so this attachment probably wouldn't work with it. What radio do you have?
