Thread: No heat

    Default No heat

    I have a 2006 Silverado and i lost my heat a couple of days ago. Changed the thermostat and still nothing,top rad hose is hot bottom one is cool. Temp gauge seems to be staying steady. anybody have any thoughts ? Oh and i have no options of what so ever.

    try back flushing the heater core. more than likely it has some clogage in it. i am a mechanic and 9 times out of 10 when we see one that has no heat we backflush it and boom heat is right back. dont get me wrong im a chevy die hard but i hate there dexcool it clogs everything
