4l60e for rebuild
I just swapped in a rebuilt 4l60e into my truck cause mine was blown, the 3 and 4 clutches were gone and when i pulled it out the fluid was burned. It has about 158,000 miles on it, and I was wondering, what would it be worth if someone were to buy it for rebuild vs just taking it to a scrap yard? Just wondering what a dead but rebuildable trans is worth.

at most worth a core of $100... there are so many 4L60E on the market.. and if you have an 04 it is a 4L65E. still worth the same price when blown.Mike
