    Default Burban It's done

Just picked it up a few weeks ago.. I promised when it was done I would post pics... before, during, after.. still a few minor bugs to work out, surprised my wife with it tonight... she was happy.... and all this for $3000.... yeaaaa......Btw fully loaded2002 new leather on the driver's haven't installed the pioneer headunit yet but that can wait. The major stuff is done.. no panel was left untouched... It was pretty beatup looking whaen I got it, thats why so cheap, the woman I bought it from her daughter opened the door as she was backing out of the garage... Lots of duct tape and hoping and the door stayed on for the 1 1/2 hour ride home......

Wow now that's a nice truck for $3,000, are you going to keep it or sell it for a profit? Also how many miles are on it, that sure took a lot of work but it looks beautiful now.

Nice job, quite a bargain! I like the look of the 18" Factory rims on there.

plan on keeping her, just sold my extended cab pickup for her since I have another kid due in June...but you never know I have a habit of getting rid of cars and trucks prematurally and getting others. Gave it to my wife yesterday she's happy (of course on her way home from work a check engine light came on ) but like I said almost done still bugs to work out and need to put a headunit in it (which I have already since the stock one is on it's last legs.
80000 miles..... and yes I like the factory 18's also.... They are off a 2007 avalanche z71 craigslist find for $300 with about 500 miles on them.... How they are is how I picked them up. I live in Rhode Island and went to NJ to get them (had to be there for thanksgiving anyways) but went 1 1/2 hours further south which was ok to get away from the families anyways. The 2 most expensive parts so far has been the leather for the driver's seat bottom and armrest at $205, and rims/tires at $300 the rest has been time/ labor/ primer/paint... thats it.....
I think she's shaping up and will be done soon enough at least enough so my wife can trash it....
