Default Has anyone installed an Inclination Sensor?

    Greetings everyone,

I found an inclination sensor on a GM parts website that, when installed on the vehicle security system senses changes in the parked angle when the system is armed. Has anyone installed one of these on their vehicle? I had the wheels and tires stolen off of my '08 Silverado recently and am considering installing one. They jacked up the truck, took the wheels, and left it on landscape blocks....in the middle of the night sitting in my driveway. Any opinions/feedback on inclination sensors? And would they be effective enough to justify the cost?

    Thanks,
    Dennis

That really sucks Dennis! I was looking at one of those myself. I have a 2009 1500SL Serria with remote power locks but don't know if I have what it takes to install. I also have the simple alarm that the dealer installs so was thinking maybe going with an aftermarket alarm? I like to keep everything on my truck factory but am learning that sometimes (mosttimes) aftermarket is better. Any way good luck!
