Default Repair shop in Phoenix Area for '78 GMC Sierra Classic?

My dad still drives the 1978 GMC truck he bought from the dealer. It's 100% stock, with a couple hundred thousand miles on it. Engine (350) rebuilt only once.

We're looking for a reliable shop that won't take him to the cleaners. It needs brake work and new rear wheel bearings - at least. He's in his late 70s, so he's a prime target for an unscrupulous mechanic. He's also not up for doing it himself.

Your recommendation would be appreciated. He lives in Chandler so a place in the East Valley would be best.

    Thanks.

Can anyone in the family do these repairs? They are not that complicated and should take less than half a day for a DIYer

Well, unless the local dealership isn't like all the rest, take it there. Seriously, you will need to find someone that shives a git about their fellow man. I suggest you find out where the local rodders/car clubs meet and stop in there and ask around. Those folks don't pay anyone to work on their cars unless they were born rich and never spent any.
