ECM removal in 1995 C1500
I have a 1995 C1500 with the 4.3l engine. I ordered a stage 1 chip for it and I will need to remove the ECM to install it. Are those hard to do? I belive its behind the glove box. Any tips or advice will help. Thanks all!1995 C1500 4.3L 2WD. JET TBI Spacer, JET stage 1 chip, 10mm Taylor custom wires, Pulstar Iridium Pulse Plugs.
260k miles and still going strong...

You got it... behind the glove box. Its straight forward. Disconnect POS terminal on battery. Remove OEM chip, install new chip, reconnect battery. GO!My lug nuts require more torque than your Honda makes.

Actually, you should remove the NEGATIVE battery cable first. For that matter, you don't have to remove any cable to replace the ECM as long as the ignition is "OFF" while you do it.
Good Luck and God BlessRemember that if you're not part of the solution, then you're part of the problem!
