Default ECM removal in 1995 C1500

I have a 1995 C1500 with the 4.3l engine. I ordered a stage 1 chip for it and I will need to remove the ECM to install it. Are those hard to do? I belive its behind the glove box. Any tips or advice will help. Thanks all!

You got it... behind the glove box. Its straight forward. Disconnect POS terminal on battery. Remove OEM chip, install new chip, reconnect battery. GO!

Actually, you should remove the NEGATIVE battery cable first. For that matter, you don't have to remove any cable to replace the ECM as long as the ignition is "OFF" while you do it.
    Good Luck and God Bless
