    No, to be honest I'm not for certain EXACTLY how the sensor works.. but every one that i've replaced hasn't had the need to replace the refrigerant.

    I'm kind of confused about the company ripping out the interior of new cars and test fitting them with new dashboards and stuff lmao.. first time i've ever heard of that.

    They do it often. They actually bring in cars from other automakers and rip them apart to check out the technology. The guy will get the controller, I will swap them to find out if that is my issue, then he will return it and I will order a new one.
