Default 1996 Silverado axel binding up

I have owned my 96 Silverado since march and i have started getting a problem from what seems to be the rear end. when i come to a stop after driving(the distance doesnt matter) it feels like the rear end is binding up on me. but it does let go after a second. when i am driving down the road i have no problems though. i have noticed that my rear drums are warped after driving over wolf creak about 3 weeks ago. does anyone know what my problem may be?
    thanks Chris

Have you checked to see if your emergency brake is releasing fully? Quick way to check - drive a mile or two without braking much and feel the drums. If they're hot, your cable is likely the cause.
