    Default 99-06 silverado tailgate locks

    hey guys,
my uncle finally found a tailgate for my 2000, and i intend on putting a tailgate lock on it when i get it back.
the only two brands i have found for this are
both of these brands seem to have good and bad reviews as do most things on this planet.
if any of you have any experience with either of these locks or advice please feel free to let me know...
and im sure there are many others whom your advice would help as well.

Just browsing through the forum and saw no one ever responded to this... I have a Pop N Lock, and have no way to compare it to a Bully, but I do like the Pop N Lock. It was easy to install and looks good (looks pretty much stock in my opinion). I don't have a picture handy, but mine looks like this: and I have a Chrome handle so it matches perfectly. It only "locks" one side of the handle, so feels a little flimsy, like if you're really trying to force it open you might break the handle but not the lock. I figure I've got only a soft tonneau cover anyways, so if anyone really wants into the back of my truck they're going to get in... this just prevents casual theft from someone who might walk by and quick try the handle to see if it's open.

I got a GM one from the dealer because it is keyed alike to my ignition.

Cost $ 180 bucks installed, but seems very good....I got a chrome handled one.

ha real late on the responses guys,
but anyways i ordered the bully one a while back and it does its job, just like gmclone said its a lock and it aint gonna keep anyone who wants your tailgate from stealing it but will definitely slow them down, but it doesnt seem too strong, it definitely looks factory though.
