GM truck newbie with a cat question
Hey my names Jo my husband and I just traded our 04 silverado for a 93 suburban we've always been gm people love American made it was sad to lose our pick up but with a growing family we needed something with more space. Anyway we where under the truck doing an oil change and didn't see a cat does anyone know where it is or if it is there at all thanks

Welcome to the club, sorry to hear about the loss of your truck. You must be devastated.
I am not sure but I think the 93 should of had cats right after the manifolds. Someone may have taken them off though. Good luck with the Burb. Post some pics when you can, we like that kind of thing here.

Yes, your 'burb had a cat from the factory. It would have been right behind the "Y pipe" coming off of the engine, then an o2 sensor behind that.
