2000 gmc sonoma 5spd shift issues?
hey there new to this. Im looking to pick up a 2000 gmc sonoma 2.2 5spd . previous owner destroyed clutch from pedal to clutch itself. after the clutch (from pedal on ) was replaced it seems to not always like 3 gear and doesnt always take reverse well. could it be because i drive it like a manual car? I mean i beat a pretty modified civic with it. am i pushing it to hard? i haven't gone over 3000 rpm. but ideas?

I'd change the trans fluid, make sure you get syncromesh fluid either GM or Royal Purple is my favorite, the GM fluid requires an additive also.
New fluid is worth a try but if he beat the clutch he probably beat the tranny also
