    Default 2011 Silverado 2500 HD

Hello, I have been a proud owner of some nice Chevy / GM products. My list :

    1995 Chevy Blazer with a 4.3 liter
    2003 Silverado 1500 with a 5.3 liter
1978 3/4 ton pickup box trailer
2007 Avlanche with a 5.3 liter (had the damn oil consumption problem engine)
    2011 Silverado 2500HD with a 6.0

I use a truck as a truck, I get my own coal, wood chips, stone to fix my dirt road, wood, and I pull a 7100 lb. camper.

I just put on towing mirrors, which was pretty easy. I was going to go with a rhino or a DIY herculiner, but opting for a plastic bed liner just for the simple fact of the abuse the box will take with the wood, coal and stone. I just ordered a BakFlip F1 tonneau cover (Avy spoiled me on the tonneau cover), cannot wait to install that. Not to forget a K&N air filter, where it helps with gas or not, the fact that I never have to purchse another air filter is great enough for me.

Looking to do some other mods, not sure what. I need to see what other people have done and go from there.

Welcome aboard. Great group of people here and always willing to help. Thats a fine list. Glad to see you use a truck as a truck too. I also like your reasoning behind the K&N filter but I need to get a new one soon as mine is starting to get all dented and crushed by rocks. We're suckers for pictures BTW.

If at first you don't succeed, get a bigger cheater bar.

Welcome, but I would suggest doing the DIY bedliner (and applying it correctly), or having a spray in bedliner put in, especially if you are considering a plastic one. They end up doing more damage than good, and a bed liner will handle the wood and rocks and such better than a plastic one, IMO.

Welcome to the site. Quite the lineup of GM trucks you have there. You should have a nice array of pics. Glad to have you here.

Also, I'd suggest the same as Jimmeh with the bed liner. The spray ins take a lot of abuse and will protect the bed underneat as well a lot better than the plastic, in my opinion. It's a nice truck and worth the little extra money in protecting it.
