    its good direction but steep in price.

    And sorry but we dont need any more federal subsidies. We need less govt muddling the waters on everything all it tends to do is make it more expensive and difficult.

    I never said we needed more subsidies ... but that's what it'd take.

    Frankly a subsidy of that sort might be ok. Think -- it was a federal subsidy that got us to the moon. It was a federal subsidy that got Hoover Dam built ... which in turn supplied the power to allow us to refine weapons grade uranium and build the atomic bombs that ultimately ended our war with Japan. It was a federal subsidy that built the interstate highway system we've permitted to crumble by dropping what we spend on infrastructure from 10% GDP to 2% GDP.

    Not all subsidies are bad. Not all are good, either.
