'07 Silverado Classic brake problems after 6" lift
I have a 2007 Silverado Classic 4.3/5-speed and I just had a 6 inch lift, 35/12.50/17 tires, and 4.56 gears put on and now the ABS light, the other red brake light, and the "service brake system" message all come on at the same time after I'm on the road for about a half mile. I have corrected my speedometer using the Hypertech power programmer and also checked and cleared the DTCs.
I came up with:
Code # C0035 (Left Front Wheel Speed Sensor Circuit Malfunction)
Code # C0040 (Right Front Wheel Speed Sensor Circuit Malfunction)
Code # C0245 (Wheel Speed Sensor Frequency Error)
I have taken the hub and everything back off, started at the sensor, cleaned it (wasn't dirty to start with), and traced down and checked all wire connections and everything seems to be the way it should be. The brakes still work ok, I couldn't even get them to lock up on pavement but I do have big heavy tires on it now.
I am hoping someone has ran into this or has seen it happen because it has got me stumped. Thanks in advance for any help!
