    How do I find out my towing capacity? All of our trucks come with some many different options/engines/trans coolers/etc????

    Also there is a yearly publication about towing put out about tow ratings that'll tell you all the ratings plus has advice on proper tow technique

    Cool

    I took time to read the manual...............I know us men should never read the manual or ask for directions.

    Mine will pull 9,500lbs with a weight distributing trailer hitch set up===== Muy Macho

    You can download your owners manual from Chevrolet to your PC for fast access.

    How do I find this for my 95 Suburban - owner's manual only has 8 sections. Trying to find online is a pain too - seems I can find the max capacity but realize there are a lot of factors for this. Owner's manual on page 4-41 says see your dealer for towing information or write to some address in Canada. I can't believe it is this difficult to find. My 99 has it in the owner's manual...

    I know this thread is a couple weeks old, but I just bought my '12 Silverado, and was searching for the exact same info. I found some great info here for my 2012;
    http://eogld.ecomm.gm.com/NASApp/dom...&divisionID=1#

    There is a 2012 GM Consumer Information Truck-Camper Loading link box on the upper left.

    To see towing specs, go to Print Book. Select your vehicle, then select Trailering Specs, click Print. A new print window opens with all the specs. ..

    Lots of other great info too. Enjoy.
