    Default Body lift installed!

So a friend of mine and I spent about 7 hours installing my body lift yesterday. About 3 of those hours were spent just at the back end of the truck fighting both the spare tire and the rear bumper. I still need to adjust my front bumper, but I am pretty pleased with the results. It is only a 1.5" body lift, but that's all I needed/wanted to clear my tires.

And a reference shot next to my dads pickup. His is squatting due to the large boat attached to it, but still ;)

Next up is getting my fender flares installed! Waiting on my rocker liner to get here first. And I also need to get a new front grill since I broke a couple of clips that hold it on. Decided that instead of being gentle when pulling it off, I needed to use my he-man-woman-hater strength ;). I ziptied it for now and it doesn't move.

    Looks good.
In addition to the body/frame gap you'll probably notice the spare tire looks like it hangs down further. Thats why a lot of people start putting the spare in the bed.
Even with the back of your dads truck squatting the difference in the front is still noticeable.

Oh yeah, the picture I didn't post!

Put my old factory spare on Craigslist with a free factory spare tire hanger. My current full size spare with matching wheel is in the bed for now. Going to have a rear bumper built with spare tire carrier in the future.

And since it is only a 1.5 inch body lift, I'm not too worried about the body gaps.
