    Default Rim fitment 1996 k1500

    Can I fit a set of 15" rims on my 1996 k1500. I have been told both ways. Im looking at a set of rims but i dont want to buy them if they wont fit. Thanks for any info.

    I have never tried. The 2 wheel drives came with 15" wheels from the factory, although the 4x4 might have bigger brakes. My best advice is to take a jack with you to go look at them. Try the fronts on and see if the brakes touch them.

    Yes, 15'' will fit your truck. I ran a set of the 15x8 Rallys on my 97 K1500 for a few years.

    97 Chevrolet Suburban K1500 5.7L
    78 GMC High Sierra K1500

    They will fit you shouldn't have any problems

    FWIW, I've got a set of 15 x 7's i run on my '98 K1500 Suburban without any issue.
    '98 K1500 Suburban LS 5.7 L 4L60E NV246 ARB
