    By no means am I fitness guru, or even remotely excited about it. But I have managed to get into shape over the last year. I'm 5'9, and last year I had reached 265lbs. I started portion control, and managing my calorie intake (kinda goes hand in hand) along with some cardio and I've managed to lose 80 pounds since last June. Not bad, and I feel so much better it's amazing. I have an app for my yeah, there's an app for that.

    Congratulations on that 80 lb weight loss. Portion control works great. No magic, just "calories in, calories out" adjustment.

    Man that's awesome to hear! So far in my life nothing has been able to surpass the feeling i get from going from being unhealthy and sluggish to cleansed and feeling fit. more energy, ready to take on the entire world every morning. Hope everyone that has getting fit on their agenda sticks to it.. it is definitely worth it!!!

    You can't put a price on your health. And you have control over what you eat, how much you eat and whether you exercise. You can't control a lot of things in your day, but these are things you can control.

    Worrying or complaining about other people, places or things is a waste of space in your head. So don't let these things live there rent free. Just focus on what you can control, and most of the time that is how you respond to things happening in your day.
