if gas prices was not so hi would you own a new or old 4x4

I like the older 4x4's since they are easier to modify, no computers. I miss my 73 Chevy, but I lost it in a divorce. If I had the money I would build another one just like it with a few changes.Ford has a better idea! Drive a GM!

yea i traded my 78 for this 98 z 71 for the gas miliage.but i am building a 67 body on a 77 gmc frame.

My New 2011 gets the worst mpg than any Old vehicle Ive ever had. So maybe its time to look at a good ole southern truck.

I'd keep mine. I genuinely love the modern amenities of the current truck alone with the functional capabilities as a truck. That being said, if I had the funds for both, I'd also build up a late 70s Chevy as a toy that I'd feel less hesitation about beating up offroad.

I love my silverado but if I had to choose it would be the 65 c10 I love how it's all metal. And so much easier to work on

Nothing is as cool as a classic Chevy.
If I had the stamps, I'd have and old classic truck (pre 70's) for a summer truck and keep the 2005 for a winter driver and work truck.Lerch

Old 4x4 with updated/new suspension, transfer case, gears and axles.
About most of the new 4x4 are just mall runners IMO2002 Chevy Silverado & 1995 Ford Bronco
