When I had to replace the windshield on my 2002 silverado I was very surprised in the price differences when I was calling around. Some places wanted over $300, I ended up finding a well known chain in my area that did it for $90. That came with a one year warranty. If it got a rock chip or crack with in a year they would replace it completely free of charge. A friend of mine just found a place to do his 2000 tahoe for $75. I am sure that you have called around, but have you checked local junk yards?
