I've been looking for a higher output alternator for the truck, and one of my bigger concerns is that I want to produce a good amount of power at idle. So, I came across this alternator: . They are claiming it will produce 120 amps at idle, and produce the full 200 amps at 1600RPM or thereabouts. Now, most other alternators I see produce their max power at like 4-6K RPMs, so are these guys geniuses, or very good con artists. Also, if there are any other alternators that can produce more power and/or of better quality, I appreciate the links. Thanks!

Yep, its for real. You can find a lot of others plus double and triple stacked kits at http://www.ohiogen.com/. Most big players in stereo competitions go there for power.
Good information. Thank you.
