Because MySpace used to be the flavor of the month and now Facebook is. Ok seriously, it's because Facebook collects all kinds of data about you and your likes ... and is heavily monetized with ads that target you based on collected data. MySpace, by comparison, lacked a real business model.

Why is outer space referred to as a a 'vacuum' when it's awash with particles and, thus, not a pure vacuum?

You CAN have your own lane on the highway ... as soon as you personally fund construction of it and get all the requisite clearances and approvals prior to the commencement of its construction.

Why isn't there a requirement for professional athletes (a la NBa, NFL, etc.) to have college degrees?

Well most of the commissioners from the sport are previous athletes and have had to many cuncusions to realize what they are doing, plus these sports bring in way to much money not only to the players and supporters but also the the local teams economy. They don't care about what somebody has done before or what they haven't as long as they can play the sport and make money they couldn't give a flying f*ck..

Why is it that most healthy food taste disgusting while the best tasting foods are often the ones that are bad for you?

Basically, we're hard wired to find sugary and fattening foods pleasurable, as both affect opioids and dopamine in the brain much in the same way that euphoric drugs do (but to a much lesser extent). This means you get a very mild 'high' when eating sweets or fattening things ... as a form of positive reinforcement by the brain for eating a sweet, carbohydrate-rich food or a fat-rich food ... a reinforcement that makes you want to do it again.

It is likely that this was positively selected for as our species aged, because 100,000 years ago there weren't ready supplies of carb-rich or fat-rich foods (as there are, today) .... but those who obtained them likely had a higher rate of survival, as such foods are the very ones that are easily digested and either readily converted to fuel by the body (carbs) or readily put away for later use (fat) -- with minimal energy required (in the form of digestion) to do either task.

By comparison, healthy foods tend to be rich in fiber (not sugar or fat), and are much harder to digest (i.e. more energy-expensive to convert to a usable forml) ... and you have to eat more of them for the same energy you get from sugary or fattening foods. Your brain doesn't, as a result, give you the little dopamine high when you eat these ... because it wants to reward you for getting the other foods. It's all very pavlovian ... but at a biological level. Kinda cool...

Why do people sugar-coat comments they make to one another instead of just laying the truth out there right between the eyes?

People sugar coat comments that are harsh because they don't have the "genitals" to stand up and tell you to your face, cowards..

You feel compelled to take at least two showers a day because you have rank, smelly feet and fail to wash your hands after you use the bathroom. This results in latent guilt that drives you to shower more frequently...

    ohh funny man? lol!!

Bosses suck because they are bosses, once they earn the title they could care less what anyone thinks.

Why do people on GMTC complain about what others are doing when they could just as easily go to another forum?

People, as a general rule, complain rather than take action because it's less effort to complain, in that complaining attempts to make the problem someone else's rather than taking/owning the responsibility for handling it, oneself.

Why can't people mind their own business?

Because everyone Else's life is so bland that they feel the need to come into yours so that there's is more interesting!
