Vent operation issue
Good morning to all ..
Climate control set to full vent with temp all the way to cold. A/C was not running.
Was driving recently and hit a slight bump in the road. Air from vent immediately got very warm (think blow dryer) and moving the temp setting just made it hotter (intolerable). I pulled over and shut the truck off before doing the usual 'check everything' once routine. When I started back up, everything had returned to normal.
Has happened regularly since, so all I do is pull over briefly, count to 20, re-start and drive away.
My neighbor thinks it may be a failing solenoid, similar to his TB.
What do you forum members think?
Thanks!- Ted -
