My 95 K1500 w/ 144K miles dies when sometimes coming to a stop, which I am able to restart most of the time (occasionally have to crank more than once) & then also when at 65-70mph, dash warning lights come on, tach zero...then engine resumes running. Doesn't do it every outing, but more times than not. Seems to be at temp 195F or higher when this occurs. Have replaced plugs, wires, rotor, cap, fuel filter, leaking intake gasket, bypass hoses & ftgs. Any ideas

sounds like an issue with a sensor or 2...
if its starting and running well it cant be the ECU. it must be the info the ECU is getting....

with anything electronic start with "the wiggle test" by un plugging and recconecting sensors (be very careful with brittle wires and plastic)
then proceed to diognose with a DMM if the problem continues

or you could just give it a seafoam (or equivilant) treatment. i think your supposta do that ever 20K miles or so anyway
    lol
