All that means is that the Ford trucks aren't lasting as long, and Ford owners have to replace them more often! :na:

Haha! I also think that the Chevy's & GMC's ought to be included together, like Steve had in the 1st post. It seems that some areas have a lot more Chevy dealerships than GMC dealerships. In the end, thay are both GM, and both are great trucks (I actually like the look of the GMC's front end a whole lot better, but I got such a great deal on my Chevy). Either way, If I didn't get my Silvy, I would have bought a Sierra long before I would have considered a Ford. And I'd ride my bicycle before I ever even stepped foot on a Dodge dealership. I think most GM people are GM people, not Chevy or GMC people (did that make sense?).

There is more in common with a Chevy Silverado 1500 and a GMC Sierra 1500 than between a Ford F-150 and F-250, so why not count them together based on the platform?

Ford cyber whoes trying to hone in on GM. When you look at all the numbers Ford sold more fleet than consumer vehicles, that was their deal in the bail out.

I know that this is an old thread, but I will speak my peace anyway! ford always brags about their F series outselling silverado. But, If GM were to combine the sales of the Sierra and silverado, (same truck) then GM would be in first place ALMOST every year. I learned in statistics class long ago, you can always make statistics say what you need them to, just ask the right question.
