Default Can I put a duel exhaust on my 1995 burb

HI Can someone tell me if you can put real dual exhaust on a 1995 Suburban without any issues.
All I see is dual exhaust from behind the catylitic converter, to me that is not real dual exhaust.
    I have a K1500 4WD, 5.7L Engine.

    Thank You

Yes you can, it'll cost a little more because you need to add the second Cat. convertor but it's been done on plenty of these trucks. You want them to add a crossover to even out exhaust pulses and keep the truck running smooth.

Welcome to the G M T C ! If you remove the "Cats" you can run "true duals", but it is illegal in most states. It also may throw your truck's computer to show some odd readings. I know a lot of folks do it, but I don't know about the computer. Good luck!

It's actually a violation of federal law to remove catalytic converters. Besides, with modern technology, cats don't restrict power like they used to. It is possible to do what you're wanting to do though. Some typle of crossover is preferred for the reasons already stated.
