    Default Pulling VIN# from ECM

What would be the easiest way to do this? I don't have a harness with the OBD2 port that could be used to talk to the ECM. Please advise! thx matt

I don't know if the VIN is burned into the programming anywhere on the computer, but I suspect if it is, it's only accessible using a GM Tech-II tool or the like. Regular code readers can't read it.
