    That is correct. The TCI pan uses the stock depth filter. Keep in mind other companies' pans may not and may require a deep filter.

    Bad news is I think the transmission's going to need to come out soon. When I was preparing the put the pan on I noticed it looks like I've been leaking ATF from the inspection cover over the torque converter. I think the front pump seal is leaking...

    Minor update on the transmission pan and trans temp gauge... I took the Suburban out for a nice long drive after finally getting the gauges installed. Cruising at 55mph, the trans temp read around 150F, and at 70mph it read closer to 175. I'd say these temps are very nice and cool. I'm going to be towing my 10,000 pound camper with the 'burb by the end of the week, and I'll update with the trans temps after I tow it.
