    Thumbs up Newbie from Texas

I just bought a 1990 Regency Suburban as you might have guessed from my user name....

    Glad to be here!!

I bought it online and will pick it up Saturday. Can't wait!!!

I bought a 1990 Blazer new in 90 and drove it 10 years...so I am familiar with this chassis and mechanicals to a certain extent. Love these trucks!

I look forward to chatting here with fellow Suburban fans!!

    Thanks!

Yes. I have to board a puddle-jumper and fly to Arkansas. It's about a 3.5 hour drive back home. Let's hope it's in as good a condition as the seller says!! Otherwise...I'll be using my wireless connection from the side of the road to ask questions about fixing a stalled "1990 Regency Conversion"...

Can I ask how you bought it? eBay or something else? I sold a truck about 5 years ago to a guy off eBay, it was just after a mess of hurricanes so the prices of trucks in Florida went up like 30%, so he flew out here, paid cash $5250 at the bank and I signed the truck over to him. He said he was going to stop at the Casino's on the way home.

Post some pictures when you get her home. The photo gallery should be fixed by then, we're having a slight problem with it right now, but it will be cleaned up and working by then.

    Ebay.

A flight is less than $100.....and the seller is picking me up from the airport....so the gas to get home will probably cost more than the flight did..

No casino stops for me however......

.. Yeah i've always been scared to buy a vehicle of ebay, autotrader etc but one of my buddies buys all his vehicles on line. Right now he's got a land rover and a viper. Looks like I need to follow in his lead.
