I Have A 1990 Suburban And I Need To Replace To Cracked Right Front Vent Glass Seal. Can Anyone Tell Me How To Get The Vent Glass Out And Replace The Seal?
If you are refferring to the "wing" on the door you have to remove the door glass to get the entire assembly out. You could try to "cut" the adhesive from the glass and remove it that way. Never done it like that but it should work.
The Vehicles:
2005 GMC 2500HD ext cab long bed The tow rig/kid hauler
1988 GMC Jimmy 7 in lift 37 inch Goodyear MTR's (offroad only toy)
1986 GMC Suburban 2500
2000 Ford Focus work car for the gas mileage
2006 Kaufman 20 foot steel deck car hauler (to move everything around)

This would be an interesting and fun project. Has anyone done this before? I've known a lot of people with cracked vent windows that would like to have them replaced.
If you can do this, do a before and after photo please. Maybe a quick step-by-step.

I've done it twice on a 69and 70 c10. Rolling the main window down will give just enough room. Some key screws come out and slowly and patiently remove the vent assemb. email me If you don't get a newer model info for you ride. The info is out there.
