I have owned mine for 19 years. Probably not getting rid of it any time soon. In fact, I am going to be sinking more money into it under the hood and into the audio system.1994 Chevy K2500 Silverado, 454 (modified), original owner.

I usually keep a vehicle between 4-7 years with 8 being the longest I've ever owned a vehicle. After a while I get sick of looking at them.
With this being said I really like my 2013 Silverado, but I know in another 4 years I will want something new.

I haven't been known to keep a vehicle for more than a year. However, I have 3 more years to pay for the Tahoe. So I think it will be around for a whileChuckie!!!

It's already from 1999,but i will drive it as long as i am fit enough to get in it(i hope another 30 years or so)
I do all the work to it myself, that way it's always cheaper to fix it then to get another one, especially here in Europe,USA-trucks are rare here.
for example a new 2014 gmc sierra slt 4x4 5.3L ,all taxes included, wiil go around 85000$
