I have owned mine for 19 years. Probably not getting rid of it any time soon. In fact, I am going to be sinking more money into it under the hood and into the audio system.

I usually keep a vehicle between 4-7 years with 8 being the longest I've ever owned a vehicle. After a while I get sick of looking at them.

With this being said I really like my 2013 Silverado, but I know in another 4 years I will want something new.

I haven't been known to keep a vehicle for more than a year. However, I have 3 more years to pay for the Tahoe. So I think it will be around for a while

Good, stch! Don't drive it much, keep it out of salt, mud, etc., use only synthetic oils, etc., in other words, just save it for me!! Just the kind I like to buy!

I figure I will sell it to you for about $27K in 4 years($44K was the sticker). Trust me it will be in excellent shape, garage kept, clean, etc.

Well my 2003 Silverado was my first truck and honestly my dream truck since I was a kid. I wanted the Z71 package and blue and silver paint combo and I got it. So with that being said I don't know if I'll ever get rid of it (knock on wood)

It's already from 1999,but i will drive it as long as i am fit enough to get in it(i hope another 30 years or so)
I do all the work to it myself, that way it's always cheaper to fix it then to get another one, especially here in Europe,USA-trucks are rare here.
for example a new 2014 gmc sierra slt 4x4 5.3L ,all taxes included, wiil go around 85000$

Is that $85000 USD??!! If yes, that's ridiculous since that truck is around $46K here in the USA. That's almost $40000 in taxes!!!!
