painting topper to match

i just got a new to me topper and wanted to get it painted to match my truck, its a 04 z71 silverado and the topper is aluminum, is this even possible?estimated cost?

Yes it can be painted to match your truck but I couldn't tell you how much it might cost. The local Maaco paint shops do a whole car for $300 and up and I would imagine a topper could be done for that or less.

Yes it can be done....

Cost? What is the finish now? Will it need to be sanded? Do you want a good color match and a good clear coat on it?

You get what you pay for when it comes to paint jobs. I would not expect to pay less than $300.00.
