    Default Wrecked!

    I was on my way home from work last night when a young girl turned in front of me. I was doing 40-45mph and did not have a chance to let off the gas. Luckily I was the only one in the truck. She was driving a jeep patriot or compass. At least it still shines. The tow truck drivers shirt reflected in the paint while he cleaned up the spilled fluids. I am waiting for my insurance company to tell me if it is totaled or not. My guess is that it is. I hardly felt the impact and the airbag was nice and soft. I am sore as heck today.

    Ouch, glad you are okay, Trucks are replaceable lives aren't. Make sure you get checked out, the pain usually takes a few days to hit you and better to be safe than sorry

    Yes, I did get checked out. The paramedics at the scene were a lot more concerned about the 2 girls that were flipping out then about me. So, my wife took me to the hospital. No fractures. They said that there is always a chance of ligament damage in my neck, but we will only know with time.
