    Default Rpm issues

I have a 2000 chevy silverado 1500 5.3L, when i start it up it idles at about 700-900rpms, when i just bump the gas it will rev up to about 1500-2000rpms and stick for several seconds and take a long time to go down. Also when i put it in drive the rpms will increse and keep on increseing then it shifts and stays about 2000 rpms with my foot off the accelerator

If spraying WD-40 on the linkage doesn't help, clean the throttle body inside.
