96 starting issue
My 96 5.7 won't start...it tries to but it won't...it kicks but nothing more...I can hear the fuel pump run so I don't think its that...if anyone can help...I would really appreciate it

Those are bad for corrosion in the cap and rotor due to moisture build up check that, it's also possible to hear the fuel pimp run and it not delivering enough fuel pressure or volume and will cause it too do that, dont quote me but i think those should have pressure of 45-55lbs there you would need a fuel pressure tester or spray some brake parts cleaner down the intake and crank it that will usually make it go if the pump is the issue next could be a faulty coolant temperature sensor and it's flooding the engine in that case put your foot to the floor and crank the hell out of it try those for some simple checks!

Thanks...I didn't think about looking under the cap cause it isn't that old but ill do that in the morning...thanks
