Ride height spec for front and rear od 2001 Suburban 2WD
Anybody who has the specs? I still think my torsion bars on my 160k mile Suburban has sagged a lot. My front lower control arms are sitting on bump stops. The ride is getting horrible. I replaced both the right and left bump stops today because the original ones were gone 50%.
I measured the distance from the bottom of front fender to top of my 16-inch rim: 11.5 inches.
Bottom of rear fender to top of 16-inch rim: 13 inches.
I would like to turn the torsion bar adjuster CW one full turn on both sides to raise the front to 12.5 inches. Is this about right?

Not sure on your correct height but after you level it out to where you want it,id throw some new shocks on it and that may help out alot

Yes, that's what I am going to do next. The new shocks will not lift it up anyway, so I have to level it out first. I will probably go back to factory shocks.
