    Default installing compressor

hey fellas, just signed up for this site because ive been told its the best one out there. so the reason for the post is i need some help tying into ignition fuse on my 2006 2500hd duramax. i am installing a compressor and tank onto my truck. should i tie directly into battery with a relay or is there a better way and or easier? thanks for helping

Tap into a keyed wire after the fuse box, you dont want directly into the battery because if your not around and the tank gets a leak the compressor will continue to run until your battery is dead.
Use a relay and the tap will just be a signal wire that the ignition is on.
