Default Newbie from North Carolina Looking for Upgrade Advice

    Hey,

Back in the Chevy fold. Had a 1980 Silverado that I sold about 10 years ago (had nearly 500k miles on that one). Just purchased a used 2011 Silverado WT with only 6000 miles on it. Had a few upgrades including power windows and locks. 5.3L V-8 is not my old Hyundai motor. Previous owner added lots of chrome and bedliner. Picked it up for steal of a price.

I will be adding much more to the truck in the future. Now, want to add the Driver Info Center - from all I read, it should drop-in with no real hassle - just verifying that it will work in the 2011 Silverado WT model.

Looking forward to adding more to this baby in the future and driving it for another 500,000 miles.

Thanks to all for what I have already learned and look forward to this great forum!

    Welcome to the club.

I havent done the DIC addition myself but I do remember a post some months back where a member added it to his W/T truck, he said it was pre-wired and just needed the hardware.
