    Default GMC heater problem

I have 2000 5.3 Z-71 , I changed out thermostst and my heater still doesnt work . Does anyone know of this problem in other trucks ? I heard it could be some heater door that wont open.

It could be the blend door that is not opening up. My '03 would stay stuck on heat sometimes until I shut the truck off and then re-started it, forcing it to go into reset mode. The odds are better that it is the actuator or the head unit controls than it is to be a broken door.
