Default Changing one ton truck tire size

I have 245/75/16 on truck now, I do not haul or tow anything . Can I put 265/60/16 on the truck?

    I take it your truck is a 1500? Is 2WD or 4WD?

My 1500 came stock with 245/75/16s like what you have now. I currently have 265/75/16s on it and the front tires rubbed just a little bit when they were brand new. After wearing down a little bit they stopped rubbing. The 265/60/16s you want should fit. They'll be slightly wider than stock but will actually be shorter, as in, the overall ride height of your truck will be about 2 inches lower.
