What other languages do you speak, if any?

English/German/Norwegian

Not bad from someone born in New Zealand.

Learned French in school, then spent some time in Quebec, so I used to speak French quite well.

Took a couple years of German in school as well, but have retained very little. Though if I think about it hard enough, I can still sing, "Mein Hut, er hat drei ecken."

I speak and read German, however I don't have anyone to speak with so I am very rusty.

English and French... lived in Northern Quebec ... Noranda where were you in La Belle Province?

I spent about a year to 18 months mostly in Sherbrooke, Drummondville, Trois Rivieres.

Sadly, after three years stationed in Japan I only picked up a little Japanese. Enough to be polite, but not really enough to have a full blown conversation aside from, "hello, how are you. Pleased to meet you." Know a few phrases in Spanish, German, and Russian as well. The wife use to speak french quite well growing up, but without anybody else to talk to she's forgotten most of it. I'd still love to take a class to learn more Japanese though!
