Installing a muffler
In a couple of weeks I will be swapping out my old, stock muffler for a new Flowmaster Super 50. My dad will be helping me and we will be doing the work in his shop. We have all the tools we'll need, including a welder. My question is, is there anything specific I should know before we do this or is installing a new muffler as simple as cutting out the old one and welding the new on in place? Other than the muffler itself, are there any other parts I will need: adapters, brackets, anything like that? Thanks!Clint (TX) 2001 Silverado LS 4.8L auto 2wd ECSB [GARAGE]
