Default Looking at buying HUMMER h2

What's the deal with the HUMMER H2 used vehicle market? I have always liked the styling and I think that I would use it as a suv quite often going to my folks ranch in oklahoma.

I know that the overall used vehicle market is pretty spendy right now, I get that. The problem is, what did these things cost new?

Here's one I was looking at. It's a 2008 H2 and they're asking $42,888 for it! Let me do my math ... that's a 5 1/2 year old rig with over 50,000 miles on it going for north of $40k.

If memory serves me correctly, these things were going for around 75K new. Kelley Blue Book on it is $45,900, so that isn't really too far out of line.

50k miles in 5.5 years? Well, the mileage is low and the price is very fair given the spendiness of the vehicles when new. Also remember that these aren't made, anymore, and many people liked and/or wanted them. The result is that their values aren't falling like they would if new models were still in production ... as people still desire them and there weren't a ton of them given their price point.
