    Im doing bodywork on my 1999 sierra and would like to share some photos (soon) im waiting to upload on my gallery, I would like to see if others have replaced the pop can thick rusty rockers on these trucks, I think I bit off more than I could chew thanks!

    Welcome to the club Sierra. The rockers aren't difficult. Make sure you have your new ones in hand before you start cutting the old ones out. Also, use a nice thin die grinder wheel for nice neat straight cuts.
    1988 Chevy C-3500 2wd (no pic)
    350 c.i. 5.7 L Stock Block, 4 Bolt Mains
    L-31 Vortec Heads, Edelbrock Cam & Intake,
    Holley 650, Flowtech Headers, Magnaflow exh.
    Jet Trans 700R4, B&M Ratchet, 4:10 gears,
    3" susp. lift kit "shadetree"
    No rev limiter, No speed limiter lol

    Hi Stephan, thanks for your advice but the rockers are allready on the truck, just finishing up sanding the high solids.

    I see the mods finally approved your pics. That is beyond rust. That's air space where the rust used to be .. I'm guessing they use salt on the roads in the winter
