AC blowing hot air
Intermittently my a/c for my 2004 GMC Sierra 1500 2wd blows hot air out of the drivers side, and cold air out of the passengers side when I turn on the a/c.
I read somewhere there is a reset trick to resolve a "blend door issue". Does this sound like a typical remedy, and where can I locate this reset instruction?
Is there a more common problem, or place to read the instructions for diagnosing the actual problem?
Thank you in advance

If reclaibration doesn't permanently resolve it then it's time to replace the driver's side blend door actuator.
