How about the MBRP system? Most everything I've read has been positive.

from working closely in the Aftermarket Exhaust industry. i've had all of the over the counter exhaust systems on all of my vehicles. my conclusion i came up with is that its all just the difference in sound. i could go on why some systems "feel" like they give u more HP than others blah blah blah...but this post would be like a college thesis on "Acoustics, Noise and Vibration Control"..anyways...to me it boils down to the most bang for the buck.

you could spend $400 bucks for an aftermarket catback system. but who wants to spend or even have that kind of money just laying around. sure you can tell your FORUM chronies that you have the "Gibson" "Borla" "Corsa" "magnaflow" "flowmaster" etc on you ride. it sounds cool (no pun intented). to me thats like a chick bragging about her Prada bag or Dolce & Gabana sun glasses. hehehe...

so my bang for the buck exhaust system is as follows.
Summit 3inch glasspacks x 2 =$38 bucks (sounds mellow at idle..mellow at cruising speed..no interior drone..when you get on it..sounds like a 60s muscle car)
installed in my HD chevy $75 bucks.

or if you want a "name brand" straight thru design like a glasspack
dynomax Race bullets. same sound as i described above but you will be paying twice.

or..you could go with the summit chambered mufflers. same sound as the flowmaster delta series. no interior drone. has that flowmaster/magnaflow kind of sound upon acceleration

Papi: Good information. Definately a different point of view. I am interested to know what experience you have had with the aftermarket exhaust industry. To make these bold statements you have to have a wealth of knowledge about these various name brand exhaust systems. Being a technology geek, I love to learn all the FACTS before I make decisions on my performance improvement purchases. Throw me a little more information related to your experience. No need to write the thesis, just a short synopsis!

I too have had several different brands of exhaust systems on various cars/trucks/SUVs that I've owned. Luckily for me I have had access to chassis dynos for tuning purposes. I have found that several aftermarket exhaust systems, coupled with a quality intake system, and a good tune, can produce some fairly significant seat-of-the-pants peformance improvements. I want to do this with my '07, but without the annoying DRONE!!!
