My sub is under my back seat, and my amps are mounted on the cab back wall.

Fixed. I have to unbolt them and remove them to have full access to my amps.

the only problem with mine is that mine fold and usually I use the entire back seat for tools and what not. do subs need to be put in boxes or is that how they get the bass/clarity

I second JL Audio. They are the best in my opinion. I love their subs, their amps are great, the only reason i dont have JL door speakers is because i wanted to hear the speakers before i bought them and my local car shops didnt have much. But on the other hand my dad has JL speakers in his doors, JL amp and JL sub with an Alpine HU and its a kick ass system.

I have the Kenwood DNX7100 and I LOVE IT!!! the NAV is powered by Garmin the leader in navigation. My friend has a Pioneer Avic-z2 and I think it's a pain in the a$$ to use and after he messed with my Kenwood he is going to switch.

Easy. if you want to add the ipod cable later make sure when you install the unit that you pull the two ipod video and ipod audio and usb cable under the unit so it will be sitting behind your A/C controls that way you don't have to take the unit back out in order to hook the ipod cabel up. I strongly recemend that you pull the USB cable over to your glove box that way you can do updates via the usb cable when they come out.
